I am a believer! Well a believer in putting out what I want to receive and the universe having my back. If you want abundance you have to ask for it. Its like expecting positive things to happen, when all your views and beliefs are negative, it just won't happen.
One of the best ways for you to receive abundance and accomplish your goals is to put it on a vision board. The whole process is about putting your desires out there into the universe. If you think this is far to fetched for your views that's fine! Vision Boards are also good for enabling you to take charge of your desires/goals as you've put them out there and now feel the need to accomplish them or in other words makes you accountable.
I created my vision board around 4 years ago, after being challenged to do so by a psychic medium. At the time I did not really understand the power of them, but I thought it was worth a shot and if anything it would make me accountable for my goals and the things I wanted. Remembering that at this point of my life I wasn't on a health or empowerment journey, where I was educating myself further. At this time of my life, I had recently completed year 12 and I was still finding my way and trying to get a full-time job.
There were three major things that happened from creating a vision board that were WOW moments. Firstly one of the images on my vision board was of a women with personal surgery that I was wanting. I had seen a specialist and I was trying to get my surgery covered by medicare. The surgeon mentioned that there were women with worse situations than my own and they didn't get accepted. So, I just assumed I also wouldn't be successful. A few months went by, and I had completely forgotten about the surgery, until I received a letter in the mail. I nearly threw the letter out, as I assumed it was stating that I was unsuccessful. To my shock I had actually been accepted.
The second WOW moment was when I was trying to get a full-time job. I had completed a certificate in business administration and was still struggling to get an opportunity as I had no work experience. Someone suggested that I put what I want from a job on the board. Which is what I did. I ended up applying for a job which I didn't think I had a chance with and putting the ad on the board. To my surprise, within 12 hours of applying I had a call regarding an interview and within a week I had scored myself job.
Finally the third WOW moment was after I had, had my new job for around 4 months I was looking for rental that were on a particular side of town to cut down travel time. I was concerned I'd struggle to be accepted for any rental due to my lack of rental history. So again, I put what I wanted from a property on my vision board. I then was speaking to a beauty therapist about what I wanted and it just so happened she had a friend that was looking at renting her house out, her house was in prime area for me. I ended up meeting up with her friend and being accepted for the property. Which I lived in for 12 months.
I am not saying vision boards are the be all and end all, but I don't think you have anything to lose in trying. In contrast to what I received from the universe, it turned out the job I had gotten was a dud and left me miserable and the house was not ideal. BUT all these things contributed to experiences and gave me opportunities which I am forever grateful for.
Currently on my vision board I have put on what I want for a job and how I want it to work with my studies. To this, I currently have a casual position that is suiting me well and I am set to have an interview on Tuesday and hope to get the position, with hours that suit my needs. Fingers crossed.
